Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how and when PixelChat collects, uses and shares your information when you use our Services. Currently, PixelChat receives your information through our mobile app. PixelChat may receive information through its website, mobile apps and other Internet websites and applications (the “Services,”) and from our partners and other third parties. By using any of our Services you consent to the collection, transfer, manipulation, storage, disclosure and other uses of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. Irrespective of which country you reside in or supply information from, you authorize PixelChat to use your information in the United States and any other country where PixelChat operates.

Information Collection and Use

Information Collected Upon Registration: When you create or make changes to a PixelChat account, you provide some personal information, such as your name, username, password, and email address. Some of this information is listed publicly on our Services. 

Additional Information: You may provide us with profile information to make public, such as a biography, your location, your website, or a picture. You may also provide information to customize your account. You may also provide user generate content, namely pixel images created by you or created from images you upload to PixelChat. We may use your contact information to send you information about our Services or to market to you. We may use your contact information to help others find your PixelChat account, including through third-party services and client applications. If you email us for any reason, we may keep your message, email address and contact information to respond to your request. Additional information as described in this section is entirely optional and not required to be provided.

Public Information: Our Services are primarily designed to help you share user created artwork with the PixelChat community. Most of the information you provide us is information you are asking us to make public. This includes not only the messages you upload, including text, photos, videos, and links, and the metadata provided with those uploads, but also the other users you connect with, the uploads you comment on, and many other types of information that result from your use of the Services. In general, unless you change settings to the contrary, all information you upload is shared publically. 

Cookies: PixelChat uses cookies and similar technologies to collect additional website usage data and to improve our Services. If you wish for cookies not to be utilized, you can use the settings of your Internet browser to stop accepting cookies or otherwise limit which site you receive cookies from.

Log Data: We receive information when you access our website, or any of our other Services. This includes information which you provide us, including demographic data such as your name, address, phone numbers, and other personal information; status updates, and images.  We may also receive and collect information not directly provided by you, such as date and time of use or log-on and technical information, such as your IP address, website URL, and browser/operating system used.     

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Your Consent: We understand the information you share with us is important to you. Accordingly, we may share or disclose your information with your consent acknowledged through your use of our Services.  

Service Providers: We may engage service providers to perform functions and provide services to us in the United States and abroad. We may share your private personal information with such service providers subject to confidentiality obligations consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Modification of Information

If you are a registered user of our Services, we provide you with account settings to access or modify the personal information you provided to us and associated with your account.  You are also able to delete your account, should you no longer with to use our Services. You may log-on to your account and delete your own account at any time.    

Protection of Children

We do not direct our services to children under the age of 13, and we do not seek to collect from children online contact information, or distribute to third parties any personally identifiable information from children, or entice children by the prospect of a special game, prize or other activity, to divulge information to us. We will not knowingly allow anyone under 13 to register with any of our sites or to provide any other personally identifying information without written approval of a parent or guardian. 

Revisions / Corrections / Updates 

We reserve the right to change our privacy policy from time to time. If we do change our privacy policy in the future, we'll post the changes when they take effect.
